Fox Valley Newcomers and Neighbors

Although

Although we consider ourselves primarily a social organization, the Fox Valley Newcomers & Neighbors also enjoys participating in community service . Each year we undertake one or more charitable, humanitarian or social welfare projects.

The purpose of Fox Valley Newcomers and Neighbors is to provide members with an opportunity to become acquainted with others in the area through activities, to inform members about our area, and whenever possible, to contribute to our community through the gift of our time and energy with one or more charitable or service projects each year.

 This year our goal is to help support Golden Diners. Over the years, we have donated generous amounts of monies from auctions, raffles and cookbook sales. We have helped charities such as Lazarus House, Royal Family Kids Camp and Golden Diners.

Our calendar of events runs from September through June.  We have monthly luncheons at various restaurants and local venues!  Most luncheons include an informative program or fun activity.

We have many "Special Interest Groups" to choose from. They range from card playing to bowling, knitting, book clubs etc.There is something for everyone. If you don't see something, suggest it, or take the lead and organize it.
