Welcome to the Fox Valley Community!

The Fox Valley Newcomers and Neighbors would like to meet you and welcome you to our group!

We are a group of women who have one common goal...to make friends. We are new or not so new to the area. We are retired, getting back into social activities after children go to school or just looking to network. We can help you with the many questions and challenges involved in relocating or just learning more about the area.

We have members with no children, young children, teenagers, college students and empty nesters. We have a variety of interests, but most importantly, we want you to feel connected to a group as well as our community.

We have all been " the new kid on the block" and we really understand the emotional roller coaster  moving to a new state or community can be. Please email for more information. We know you will find us a friendly and welcoming group.

Learn how to 'Refresh & Renew' your home at our February Luncheon

Wednesday, February 15,

 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
 Francesca's by the River restaurant, 200 S. Second Street, in St. Charles 

 You'll learn how to accessorize, reorganize, and declutter your home, and discover how to multi-use many of the items you already have on hand. Donna Verhaeghe, the assistant store manager of the Geneva Commons POTTERY BARN store, and one of her design specialist will be on hand to answer your design dilemmas, and share their expertise. Bring photos, and be prepared to get your questions answered.

Join us at 11:30 a.m. for a meet and greet, followed by an 12:00 noon luncheon and program. Price for lunch is $21.00 which includes tax & gratuity. To reserve your seat, and select your menu entrée, call Jimmie at 630-924-8339. Deadline for checks and reservation is February 8.
